Described as "one of the most honest ghost hunting movies you'll see", "Investigating the Afterlife" follows an amateur ghost hunter (Shane Free) as he searches for evidence of the paranormal by hitting some of the top haunted "hot spots" within the United States. Unlike many popular cable TV ghost hunting shows, "Investigating the Afterlife" does not alter the footage and presents the evidence as it was recorded to give the viewer a true account of what happened at the various locations. Nominated for Best Documentary at the Bare Bones International Film Festival 2009.
