Casting Call: Male 50-80 LEAD. Any Ethnicity. Must be able to convey strong emotion and subtext with little dialog.

This is for a short film in a series called "Meditations." Each focuses on different meditative or reverential moments from everyday life.

The script features very little dialogue, so we are looking for actors that would enjoy the challenge of communicating the interior life of the character through action.

Although this gig is non-paid, this is a great opportunity to build your reel and to expand your range. Time commitment is flexible, most likely a weekend of shooting in early December.

"Meditations" is a new series from filmmaker Jonathan Ade. His films have screened all across the country. His 16mm Emerson College thesis film Through and Away won the Jury Prize at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in the Spring of 2008.
