RESISTANCE is a historical drama about Vera Laska who, as a teenager, defied statistics and lasted three years as a WWII Czechoslovak Resistance fighter (instead of the average six months); survived Auschwitz as a political prisoner; and escaped the Nazis during a death march.

The screenplay is based upon Vera Laska's interview with the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education (formerly Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation), a nonprofit organization established by Steven Spielberg; "Women in the Resistance and in the Holocaust: The Voices of Eyewitnesses" by Vera Laska; and "Vera Laska" from "Women Reshaping Human Rights: How Extraordinary Activists Are Changing the World" by Marguerite Guzman Bouvard. All film rights have been secured.

To date, RESISTANCE has won over 15 awards and nominations at international film festival screenplay competitions and labs, including the Atlanta Film Festival's inaugural screenplay competition; Best Period Piece at the Action on Film International Film Festival; and Audience Vote for Best Screenplay (Synopsis & Reading) at the Prince Edward Island International Film Festival.
