Hello Emerson Family!

I'm going to be a senior at Emerson this coming fall and I'm the Executive Producer to a show called "The Emmy Experience." In brief, the show is a 30 minute television special that covers the Primetime Emmy Awards. We send a small group of Boston based students to LA to cover the event and to get interviews with those in the television industry. This is going to be the 3rd year for the show and each year it gets bigger and bigger... we even just won an Associated Press award for this last show we produced! I'm calling out to the family for some help. We're looking for people to help us get interviews from those in the television industry. This can be anyone from stage hands, actors, writers, producers, composers, make up artists... you name it, we want it. We'll be in LA from August 27th-30th to do interviews, but we'll also have crews in LA, Boston and NYC all summer long so we can work around hectic schedules. This year WEBN will be sponsoring the third annual Emmy Experience. The Emmy Experience is a 30-minute television special where a few Boston based Emersonians meet up with a few Los Angeles based Emersonians to produce a show revolving around the Prime-Time Award Show. The past two years the show has been extremely successful, it even won an Associate Press Award.

This year we will be flying out to Los Angeles Thursday, August 26, 2010 and will be staying there until Tuesday, August 31, 2010. We would love to get interviews for our show from anyone in the business. From stagehands, producers, managers, talents and everything in between… we want it. The schedule is also flexible. The potential to be interviewed over the summer months are an option in places such as Boston, New York City and Los Angeles.

We would love to have you participate in this years show. We put a lot of hard work into it, but in the end the final piece is well worth putting your name on it… you wouldn’t want to miss this chance! Hopefully something can be arranged so we can further discuss the opportunities presented here, but until then I wish you the best.
